Mumbai, October 2024 — DK Films, known for its popular superhero titles like Mahakaal, Naari, Suitboy, SHE, and Hion, has announced a new collaboration with New York-based D Star Entertainment for an upcoming superhero film. While the project title remains undisclosed, it’s rumored to be a high-budget venture that will introduce a new hero to the DK Films Universe.
Insider sources reveal that DK Films’ Dushyant Kapoor has been in talks with Bollywood-Hollywood filmmaker Mukesh Modi, known for The Elevator (2021) and Mission Kashi (2022).
This partnership aims to blend Indian superhero narratives with a Hollywood flair, reaching a global audience.
Recently, DK Films also teased fans with the launch of Suitboy comics, hinting at bigger plans for their superhero character. With Modi’s experience and DK Films’ growing superhero universe, this collaboration could redefine Indian superhero films on a global stage. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
